SCClassroom

So you have an interest in meshing do you? Not sure where to start or even begin? Well my student you have found yourself in the right location. You take the time and I am positive I can turn you into a very knowledgeable mesher. I am Professor Crouch and I will be your instructor throughout theses lessons. You mean you've never opened up a program like 3ds Max before? All the better, SCTutorials expects that you, the learner, have never before seen nor heard of such a program. These tutorials will take you from zero understanding to at least intermediate knowledge of IMVU meshing.

For those of you coming from Furry High School, welcome to my Online Classroom where you can come and study about the basics of 3D Creation for IMVU. And for those furries visiting this classroom and seek out Knowledge may I recommend the Furry High School where you can learn a wide assortment of subjects ranging from fine arts to the sciences. Have fun, become a master.

In the meshing tutorials 3ds Max 7 is used to help teach. It is recommended that students come prepared with 3ds Max 7, 3ds Max 2010, or 3ds Max 2011. The only non-meshing tutorial I have is the VIP Stickers tutorial in which case that lesson can teach you about the functions of GIMP and how to make your very own VIP sticker.

Level Definitions

Level 1

Level 1 Tutorials have no prerequisites. They are geared towards those who are brand new to the subject. Depending on how in-dept the subject is, Level 1 Tutorials can either be preparation tutorials or highly detailed tutorials. Level 1 Tutorials require Zero knowledge of the subject.

Level 2

Level 2 Tutorials usually have one prerequisite that will lead back to a Level 1 Tutorial. Level 2 Tutorials are still highly detailed and are geared towards the beginners. Although still highly detailed there may be some material within Level 2 Tutorials that are not clearly defined as the lesson expects the student to have passed the prerequisite first. Level 2 Tutorials require Basic knowledge of the subject.

Level 3

Level 3 Tutorials will have one or two prerequisites that will lead back to either Level 2 or Level 1 Tutorials. Level 3 Tutorials are more advanced and thus are not for those who are beginners. Level 3 Tutorials usually skip over large amounts of information that should have been acquired within the Prerequisites listed in the beginning of the Tutorial. Level 3 Tutorials are often times much shorter than Level 1 and Level 2 Tutorials due to the skipping of the information obtained previously. Level 3 Tutorials require Intermediate knowledge of the subject.

Level 4

Level 4 Tutorials will have multiple prerequisites. Reaching Level 4 Tutorials means even more advanced tutorials. Level 4 Tutorials usually will not explain anything that should have been learned in the previous Tutorials. These Tutorials will mention a technique and expect the student to know the technique by heart because it will move on to the next step fairly quickly. Level 4 Tutorials are very quick paced and often times this means shorter tutorials. Level 4 Tutorials require Advanced knowledge of the subject.
